What is Low Level Laser Therapy?

Low level laser therapy has been demonstrated effective in the treatment of a variety of painful and inflamed conditions of the soft tissues and joints. The Science

Low Level LASER Therapy is also known as photobiomodulation. LLLT uses infrared light to reduce inflammation, ease pain and promote healing. It entails the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near infrared) to generate a photochemical response in damaged or dysfunctional tissue. It changes the condition of damaged tissue by stimulating cellular metabolism thereby accelerating the healing process.
